We are providing Village Tours mainly in Anakkulam & Kanthalloor. Anakkulam is a village around one hour far from Munnar. It is a forest-locked village where we can experience the natural wildlife and the Tribal colony inside the forest.
Anakulam : We need to drive about 43 kilometers to Anakulam via Lekshmi Mountain (road) from Starting point by Jeep. The unspoken feel of beauty and serenity together meet at a forest locked village called Anakulam. This place of aesthetic value is nearly 40 km away from Munnar, the paradise of Gods’ own country. Elephants dally here in large social groups in human inhabited areas, which is something unique about this scenic spot. Two tributaries of Periyaar, namely, Idacholayaar and Nallatanniyaar wets and nourishes this land. Accessibility depends on jeep service. Everyone can enjoy elephant herds within a distance of 50 meter. The herd strength includes young calf and the mighty tuskers. A nice walk through the forest and a cool bath in the Idacholayaar freshen one’s mind. Anakulam is an amphitheatre surrounded by Reserve forests. It has high uniqueness due to geographical, climatic and cultural richness. The panoramic view of step cultivation lands of Anakulam surrounded by huge mountains is mesmerizing.
Kanthalloor :Kanthalloor village life there first we move to the Sandalwood forestwhere you can see animals like Deer, Bison , Monkeys and wild Elephants with the fresh aroma of sandal wood of exploration , then experience the Anakottapara Dolmens which is a historic place that belongds to Neolithic Age between 3000 Bc to 4000 Bc .After this we will move to the Keezhanthoor Waterfalls experiencing its cool breeze . Then, we'll visit the Bhramaram Shooting Point and Honey bee nest. Then comes the Fruit farm visit seeing the Apple and Orangecultivations along with Strawberry and village farm visithaving an experiene of farm fresh Carrot, Cabbage, Beetroot and Cauliflower and enjoy the view from Peradipallam view Point.
