About The Tour
This is a regular night treking program in the periphery of the Eco development zone of the Tiger Reserve in the company of armed guards between 7 pm and 4 am (7pm-10, 10-1am, 1-4am). This program injects excitement into the experience while keeping smugglers at bay. The program also provides fascinating macrophotography opportunities.
The Entrance Gate of the Periyar Tiger Reserve and from the Bamboo Grooves which intends the guest a feelings of wilderness during night accompanied by an Armed Forest Guard and two Guides. A three hour night trekking that starts from two points, The Timing of this trek is 7pm, 10pm, 1am in which maximum 6 persons and minimum 2 persons to run this programme.
