About The Tour

We need to drive about 4-8 km’s towards Munnar (road) from Munnar info to the starting point.
The full day trek is guided tour towards the Lakshmi hills and Pothamedu Mountains, in Munnar. In this hiking we want to walk around 14 to 18 km total (6-7hrs). The land type in Lakshmi hills is lush green & fertilized land used to grow coffee, cardamom and cinchona. Now the land is replace by Tea plantations. it’s a day trek starts at the height of 1420 metres MSL and the highest point of the trek is about 2000 metres MSL . On the way we can see tea plantation and cardamom plantation in the shola forest in one side and other side is rocky mountain. Where there is a high chance to spot few of our endemic birds. After some refreshment we will be having the packed lunch. We will continue to the mountain and on the way back we can see shola forest, which contains a wide variety of species like wild squirrel and Gaur, spices like coffee, cardamom and waterfalls etc. The tour will be finish around 3.00 to 5.00 pm, and will be back to starting point.
