Day 2- (10/08/2024)
After break fast proceeding to Half day hike in Munnar- @8.30am
Munnar Info mainly providing hiking tours in Lekshmi hills in Munnar, Idukki. The name Lekshmi derived from the the name of Goddess Lekshmi, known as god of prosperity. There are two starting point for the Trekking, one is for persons who likes hard trekking and another one is persons who likes medium trekking. The two trekking are organized in one hills i.e Lekshmi hills. The land type in lekshmi hills is lush green & fertilized land, used to grow coffee, cardamom and cincona. Now the land is replaced by tea.
We need to drive about 4-8 kilometers towards Munnar (by took took or bus) ) from Munnar info Offices to the starting point of Letchmi hills trek. The trek will start at the height of 1420 meters MSL (approx), we will start through the tea plantations for about 60 to 90 minutes, after reaching the top of the hill, rest of our couple of hours trek will be on the ridge which offers beautiful views around, it will be through grasslands, one side will be rocky mountain slope and the other side will be tea plantations, patches of Shola forest etc, in a clear sky day we could see the Anamudi “highest peak in Suth India” and the water reservoir of Idukki Dam which listed as highest arch dams in Asia and third tallest dam in India. We will have refreshment, our trek we will be through Nature Zone where we can see some of exotic spices like Coffee, Cardamom etc, Will have another 60 minutes to 01.5 hours walk through the tea plantations to finish the trek, highest point of this trek will be about 1800 meters MSL (approx). The Tour finish at old Munnar, near Munnar town . If you want pick up from your hotel , the charge will be extra.

Spice trail tour,and boating
After berak fast @ 9am proceeding to spise trail tour-
(Spice trial tour is a Guided tour and travel by Tuk Tuk ( Auto rickshaw) at Thekkady for a half day tour )
Experience Organic Spice plantation ( 1- 1.5 hrs)
Thekkady in Kerala state India's largest wildlife sanctuary and covered with organic spices is a dream destination for any tourist visiting India. The chill climate of Thekkady will refresh your mind and body. The state is the spice capital of the world. Over Twelve varieties of spices is cultivated in Thekkady and its neighbouring villages.
We start the walking tour though the organic plantation where we can see the different types of organic dried Fruits, Cereals, such as Vanilla, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Anise star, Poppy seed, Black pepper, Cardamom etc... for one and a half hours.
Experience Tea plantation walk( 30mnts to 1 hrs)
Explore a golden piece of legacy to scribble down in your travel journal this. It is the oldest tea plantation in Thekkady.It is very joyful to walk through lush green tea estate enjoying the cool breeze blended with the sweet aroma of tea leaves and also can see the classic tea factory. Also we can see the process of withering, crushing, fermenting, tearing and curling of the leaves.
Then will be moving to the coffee plantation for 30 minutes, where we show how the tea is collected and transported and then ends with tea plantation visit for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

One of the main element in the Coffee Factory is to enjoy the Arabica Coffee (coffee arabica) is a species of flowering plant in the coffee. Arabica have a smoother,sweeter and more nuanced flavour than other coffee. It is believed that it is the first coffee to have been cultivated and is currently the domain cultivator.
Here first we move towards the coffee plantation factory, where we will show you how the coffee is converted to coffee powder. After this We'll have authentic Kerala Lunch.
